Stepping In When Another Contractor Closed

Single Malt is a cigar bar in Nashville that was weeks from opening when their original low-voltage contractor shut down. The ownership group called us because they needed someone who could walk in, pick up where the last crew left off, and get it done before doors opened.

We took over the full scope: 26 cameras, Bose 70V sound across 6 zones, Wi-Fi survey and 3 APs, Ubiquiti door controller for the VIP room, 8 TVs, and all the cabling that tied it together. We also coordinated directly with Comcast to get their ISP equipment installed and verified on day one.

Bose 70V distributed system with 6 independent zones. We ran speaker wire to the bar, lounge, VIP room, and patio so they can control volume and source in each space separately.

Predictive Wi-Fi Design

We ran a predictive Wi-Fi survey to find the best AP placement, then installed 3 access points for full-facility coverage. We also configured carrier offloading with AT&T and T-Mobile so phones roam to Wi-Fi automatically, taking pressure off the nearby cell towers.

VIP Room Access Control

Ubiquiti door controller secures the VIP room. Members are added and managed through a system backed by ICTAlly's 24/7 support — ownership can call any time to add new VIP members.

We coordinated directly with Comcast's tech when their modem came in. Instead of waiting for callbacks, we had someone on-site who understood both the network side and their equipment.

We walked into a half-finished job site, figured out what was done and what wasn't, and coordinated with the other trades already on-site.

Rapid Assessment

Evaluated the existing site conditions, reviewed the original scope, and identified what was complete versus what still needed to be done.

Pre-Wire (Ahead of Schedule)

Pulled all low-voltage cabling — Cat6 for cameras, APs, and access control; speaker wire for the 70V system; coax and HDMI for TVs. Completed ahead of the construction timeline.

System Installation

Mounted and terminated all end devices: 26 cameras, 3 APs, 8 TVs, Bose speakers across 6 zones, and Ubiquiti door controller. Coordinated with Comcast for ISP install.

Commissioning & Support

Verified every system operational before grand opening. Set up 24/7 support for ongoing VIP access management and system maintenance.
